The "MARINE GARDENING DAY" refer to a day to transplant seaweed in the sea on every May 10th In order to create marine foreast, to restore costal ecosystem, to recover fishries resources and to remove carbon dioxide, the MARINE GARDENING DAY was declared by the Ministry of Ocean and Fisheries(MOF) of Korea Save the Sea Recently, natural fisherires resources are depleting in the costal waters mostly due to industrialzation near the shores Whitening event lead to the decline of fisheries resources Reaching unlimites possililites towards the light and way we must make every effort to revive the sea The sea has unlimited potential adn it is the key to future prosperity From sea to sea, Everyone grows alongside each other We sre a constituent of nature while at the same tim are its closet friends living together with it. 6 Funtion of MARINE FOREST 1. Provide healthy and nutritious food 2. Privide spawning grounds 3. Reduce carbon dioxide 4. Clean bio-energy source 5. Provide useful substances 6.
